Practice Facilities
The Addington offers a state of the art short-game practice area which lies parallel to our 18th Hole.
Two large undulating chipping greens replicate numerous shots out on the golf course, with two deep greenside bunkers in place to do likewise.
Beyond lies a full 'Wedge Range'. With balls available, golfers can practice shots up to 150 yards from both grass and Huxley Matting tees.
Just outside the Proshop we have a 3-bay rollback practice net and full-size practice putting green, too.
Phil Womack
Phil is a highly qualified coach with 25 years’ experience, during which time he has helped thousands of golfers, of varying abilities, become competent & self-aware, thus reducing their scores & get more enjoyment from their game.
Phil’s transformative coaching sessions are informal, enjoyable & memorable (who said golfing lessons must be devoid of fun & humour?) but always very serious about building permanent improvement.
“What you think is what you do!” lies behind Phil’s coaching philosophy of making sure the knowledge gained leads to better movements for all swings (not just on the range!).
To help you achieve your goals, Phil will begin with a 60-minute assessment of your entire game – from a 1-foot putt right through to your driver. This helps to clarify not just what you want, but what you really need, so that future coaching is correctly targeted to make great improvement to your play.
